AAR: Operation Stubble [by SBP]

AAR: Operation Stubble [by SBP]: "
This AAR (After Action Review) is intended to give players an idea what is going on various locked servers and where dedicated teams love teamplay & custom online missions & campaigns.

Mission: Invasion on Lingor: One Plantiera v1.2 (not released | coop25)

Addons: Isla Duala v1.95 Full, Lingor Island v1.3, Lingor Units v1.0, SBP Soldiers v2.4.

Mission objective is to sieze an area named Plantiera. Three objectives need to be done:

- sieze main town of Villan where Army HQ is

- sieze police station in Munga

- sieze 2nd town of Palida

All enemy units need to be found and neutralized.

Plan was that Alpha would take a Leopard tank and approach SE sector where it would support Bravo insertion by boat and then push to the Villan airport and sieze the assets there. Charlie recon got on the highest hill and acted as forward observer for a remaining member in FOB in M109 Paladin.

We spotted at least 3 T55 tanks and one T72, along with several APCs and infantry. A ZU23 battery and AA launchers prevented our chopper doing a CAS so we ordered it to stay back for now.

Our Leo spotted a first T55 reported by Bravo already advancing North toward Villan. And first shot is fired...

Several shots followed and Paladin hit at least 3 targets in Villan. We were acting as US entering Iraq - firing HE shells into heavily populated areas.

Bravo moved in to inspect the battle damage...

With majority of Villan troops eliminated our CAS moved in to support troops on ground... sweet melody of 20mm gunpod and FFAR rockets.

Unluckly both Gazellas we siezed suffered heavy damage and we didn't decide to repair them, but to push on...

We suffered first casualties when BMP reinforced town and fired off shots on airport. We also recieved sniper fire in the control tower. But Lingor Army HQ got stormed by at least 8 of our guys...

We got message that Villan is under our command - all enemies KIA. We organized troops at the Villan's soccer field:

And flew back to FOB to re-arm and rest a bit...

But soon our scouts were watching village of Ayan, where C/O ordered our insertion by MH6s with only support of one M240 humvee rushing in...

Ayan lies close to next objective, Munga Police Station. And Leo soon joined the party in Ayan. We encountered only couple of enemy soldiers and a roadblock.

Main bridge leading to Munga had a nice protection of two T55s, but we flanked them from the jungle.
