It is the first day of the Ghacks Technology News Christmas Giveaway. I’d like to go over some of the rules of the giveaway before I publish the first review here on the site. It is important that everyone who wants to participate in the giveaway knows what is allowed and what is not, and that’s why I decided to make this post.
I’ll post a review of a software program or service on every day in December from December 1 to 24, and maybe even beyond that if I have enough licenses available to do that. Each review is linked to a giveaway that you can participate in for a chance to win a license of the product. Each review links to the developer website or product page so that you can check out the product on your own, or even download a version of it that is available free of charge.
Rules:
- You participate when you leave a comment on the page of the review. Be kind and do not leave a one-word comment. If I post a question at the end, please answer it.
- Only one comment per person is allowed. Cheaters will be blocked and their IPs banned from the giveaway.
- You are free to tell your friends, family or colleagues about the giveaway and have them comment for you to increase your chances of winning. As long as it is a different person, I’m fine with it.
- You will be notified by email if you have won, so make sure the email you enter is valid. We won’t use the email or other information for any other purpose. Instructions are included in the email so that you know what to do, where to go, and where to get support when something does not work out.
- Winners will be announced after 48 hours on the Google Plus page.
- All reviews will be tagged with giveaway. You can subscribe to that tag in your Feed reader so that you do not miss a post.
