Visual Studio 3D Starter Kit Now Available for Windows Phone 8

Visual Studio 3D Starter Kit Now Available for Windows Phone 8:
The Visual Studio 3D Starter Kit, which shows you how to use common capabilities in 3-D apps and games, has been updated to support Windows Phone 8. With support for Windows Phone 8, code and assets are shared as much as possible in this update of the Starter Kit, so you can see how easy it is to share code between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
To download the Starter Kit, go to http://aka.ms/vs3dkit.  To make the most of the Starter Kit for Windows Phone 8, you’ll need to have Visual Studio Professional 2012 installed, and you’ll need to install Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 CTP 3 (it has a fix needed to package the app correctly for Windows Phone 8). And of course, you’ll need Windows Phone SDK 8.0.
If you have Visual Studio 2012 Express for Windows Phone, get the Phone-only version of the kit: http://aka.ms/vs3dkitphone. To use it, you’ll need to install Visual Studio 2012 Express for Windows 8 to enable the Graphics build pipeline.
For more info about the Starter Kit, please read this blog post on the Visual C++ team blog.
