OpenAD has designed another great office in Riga, Latvia – we’ve seen some of their other work for McCann-Ericson and a Latvian publisher.
Drenched in rays of sunlight, this office has a very modern aesthetics. White walls, light woods, and a wonderful room structure make this space something special.
And of course, adding the plants and custom desking is a pretty amazing addition. We’ve seen something similar in the offices of PONS+HUOT, though with a less futuristic, bubbly feeling. Without knowing exactly what the office is used for, it is difficult to comment on the utility of the space.
To me, I’m imagining that the office space has a number of workspaces for individuals. Storage drawers of some kind might be added at each for miscellaneous papers, pens, etc. Adjacent to those workstations is a small meeting area.
