The Windows Phone team announced today that they’re working closely with hardware and carrier partners to get roll out the Windows Phone 7.8 update to as many devices as possible in early 2013. That includes the Nokia Lumia 710, 800, and 900. How early is early?
Windows Phone 7.8 brings the new home screen with resizable live tiles, more color themes, and also new lock screen features like the option to automatically display the Bing Picture of the Day.
New models already running Windows Phone 7.8 are beginning to launch in many countries around the world, but none officially announced yet by Nokia. These devices will be sold at lower price points to get Windows Phone to more people.
