Mac users who labor away on a machine with a Retina display are about to enjoy some much sharper looking spreadsheets and presentations.
On Wednesday, Microsoft announced a new version of Office for Mac that delivers Retina-display support for the applications that make up Office for Mac 2011. With the 14.2.4 update, Microsoft says that Office users on a Mac equipped with a Retina display—currently, that’s just two MacBook Pro with Retina display models—will enjoy crisper text and a sharper interface.
