Chopping the roof off a coupe is bound to result in reduced chassis stiffness no matter how many reinforcements the manufacturer throws in to compensate. Moreover, those reinforcements add weight, which results in inferior performance.
It’s a good thing then that the Lamborghini Aventador's all-new 6.5-liter V12 puts out a hefty 690HP, so the new Roadster is certainly not lacking in the performance department.
