All the Nokia Lumia devices so far have 3-digit numbers. The latest examples are the Nokia Lumia 920, 820, 620, and 510. There’s a rumor today, originating in China, of a Nokia Lumia device with 4 digits: the Nokia Lumia 1000. If true, is this going to be the best Lumia? Or is this the start of a new lineup with the top being 9000?
Nokia went through different naming models, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they change it up again. Remember the Nseries, Xseries, and Eseries models? How about the N9, N90, and N900?
Currently, all the Windows Phone devices have the Lumia name attached. Nokia’s affordable feature phones and pseudo-smartphones have the name Asha attached with 3-digit numbers.
We’re curious where 1000 fits in Nokia’s current naming scheme, but again, this is just a rumor. What do Nokia fans think? Should there be a Nokia Lumia 1000?
