It appears that the limited-production One-77 had a double mission: put some much-needed cash into Aston Martin’s coffers, something it certainly did with a price tag in excess of US$1 million, and to act as a test-bed for technologies used in other production models.
The first to benefit from the lessons learned on the hypercar is Aston’s DBS replacement as the brand’s flagship, the 2014 Vanquish.
