Nokia’s flagship store in Shanghai closed down on Monday, March 31st. Nokia told ZDNet that Nokia is focusing on growing its presence in operator and third-party retail outlets, rather than through their own physical stores.

Customers visiting the vacated location are redirected to a Nokia Experience centre nearby. You can see some of the photos here. China is still an important market to Nokia. A special version of the Nokia Lumia 920 was released for China Mobile last year while the Nokia Lumia 520 and 720 are expected soon.
