Apple pulled a popular photo sharing app called 500px from the app store because users were uploading pornographic images. The app is now been added back to the app store after developers added new features aimed at targeting inappropriate content including a report button and mature content warning.
Starfish Technologies is teasing a new smartwatch that it plans to launch at MacWorld that interfaces with the iPhone. The watch will be able to run its own apps and is designed to mirror content from your iPhone screen.
The legal battle between Apple and Samsung over patent infringement continues to rage. Samsung is has won of the skirmishes in the war with Judge Lucy Koh ruling that Samsung did not willfully infringe on Apple patents, which means Samsung won’t be hit with any more than the $1 billion fine levied against it in the original ruling.
