As many of of you may know, earlier in the year we invited the Barcelona based artist Vinz to participate in Hybrid Thinking, our Winter group show at the Jonathan Levine Gallery.
It was during dinner one evening with Vinz that we fully began to understand the elaborate and painstaking process that Vinz undertakes when he creates his work. As Vinz described the philosophy behind his work to us, we immediately knew that he was an artist who would be making big waves in the coming years. It was to no surprise to us that Vinz work in Hybrid Thinking sold out on the opening night.
Immediately after the Hybrid Thinking show we asked Vinz if he would be interested in collaborating on a book with us. It would be our second monograph. The first, All My Friends Are Made of Paper, showcases the work of Armsrock. We were thrilled when Vinz readily agreed.
So for the past ten months, working again with our long time design collaborators Thundercut, we have been working around the clock to complete, Vinz Feel Free. We're thrilled that the book will be available for the first time this coming Friday at the launch event for Vinz's return to the Jonathan Levine Gallery.
For the event, we've created a limited edition box set that includes a unique piece of original artwork by VInz.
We invite you all to come on Friday and celebrate Vinz's book and his new show. He will be available to sign the books.
Saturday is the formal opening to the show. Vinz will be showing alongside DALeast, a wonderful artist from China via South Africa and Joe Soren.
