Land Rover’s rugged Defender has many friends here in the C/D office—not least because of the rig’s yesteryear awesomeness and ability to add hair to most anyone’s chest—and so we jumped all over the news that the off-roader is being updated for 2013. The word “updated” may be pushing it, but Land Rover has added two new exterior colors (Barolo Black and Havana), four new contrasting roof color choices, an optional seat that’s supposedly more comfortable, and an updated audio system. Keep your fingers crossed that the modernized, next-generation Defender, due sometime in 2015, will make it to our shores.
