This Week Is Going To Be An Air Pocket

This Week Is Going To Be An Air Pocket:

Sometimes around this time, we try to get everyone psyched for the big week ahead.
This week: The opposite.
There's almost no big datapoints coming out internationally or the US (the biggest one in the US is consumer credit, which comes out tomorrow at 3 PM ET).
The central banks are off this week.
There are no big meetings or summits planned in Europe.
There are no elections.
US earnings season technically starts this week, but it's quiet. Alcoa is tomorrow and JPMorgan is Friday. Other than that, nothing will be too headline grabby.
So with people worried that US economic data is in the opposite of the sweet spot (not weak enough to prompt the Fed but not strong enough to be inspiring), and Spanish yields skyrocketing, this week has the potential to be quiet and airpockety and weird.
