NASA has launched a new augmented reality app for the iPhone called Spacecraft 3D. The app has 3D models of both GRAIL spacecraft and the Curiosity rover that show up when the iPhone camera is aimed at an augmented reality target you print out.
Rovio has announced a new mobile game for iOS and other operating systems called Amazing Alex. The game sells for $.99 on the App Store and has the player manipulating physics puzzles using different objects to win.
Facebook is getting developers ready for the release of iOS 6 for the iPhone and iPad. That gear up involves releasing a SDK for developers that is updated to version 3.0.
