Viral video company Giant Media recently moved into a new office space housed in a three story loft complete with a large roof deck, outdoor fire pit, and fantastic views of Venice.
Designed by West Haddon Hall, an LA-based interior design firm, the space and theme was intended to integrate Giant Media’s goals and philosophies.
“Because they are a viral video company, West Haddon Hall studied diagrams of how viruses such as Influenza and Swine Flu spread. The design firm interpreted these diagrams into artistic terms and installed a beautiful 24′ x 30′ black and white “viral” wall mural.
In addition, one wall in the lobby area is covered with a sheet of custom-designed “play button” wallpaper, encouraging audiences to “press play” over and over again and share videos. “
The office has a woodsy-industrial feel with exposed beams, metal shelving, and a creative wooden honeycomb shelving unit – which houses the CEO’s large book collection. Workstations are in a bullpen layout – and surrounded by Idea Paint walls – though edged with colorful stripes to contain the brilliant white aesthetic entire wall installations can create.
Giant Media’s office house 20+ employees, is dog friendly, and hosts lively parties on the First friday of each month.
