Opera 11.64 Update Is Out

Opera 11.64 Update Is Out:
Opera Software has just released an update to Opera stable bringing the version of the desktop browser to 11.64. Wait, 11.64? Did the company make a blunder and skip version 11.63 in the updating process? No, they did not. After Opera 11.62 had been released, the company pushed out an Mac exclusive update that brought the Mac version to 11.63. To avoid confusion, all versions were raised to Opera 11.64 with today’s update, so that they would once again be in sync.
The release has been on Opera’s ftp server for a few hours, but since there were no information about the update on Opera’s official website, we decided to hold the info back until we were able to provide you with information on what has changed and been improved.
Opera 11.64 is a security, stability and maintenance upgrade for the browser, introducing several stability improvements in that version of the browser.

The latest stable version of Opera resolves several site-specific issues, including issues that some users experienced with non-loading pages on eBay and PayPal. The team furthermore fixed a single security related issue “where certain URL constructs could allow arbitrary code execution”.
Check out the release notes for the full run down on what has changed or been improved.
Opera desktop users who have not updated the web browser yet to the latest version can check manually for updates right from within the browser. A click on the Opera button, and the selection of Help > Check for updates does the trick. The browser checks for a new version of Opera, and if everything works out all right, you should see the update prompt open up in a new window. Here you can download and install Opera 11.64 directly, configure whether you want Opera to install updates from that point on automatically, or postpone the installation if you prefer that.
