Google to begin testing augmented-reality glasses codenamed Project Glass

Google to begin testing augmented-reality glasses codenamed Project Glass: Google’s augmented reality glasses will finally see the light of the day, as the search engine giant is busy drawing up plans to finally begin testing this industry-changing technology. Called Project Glass, this will be the company’s first wearable computing technology. Currently, the firm is keeping the Project Glass as hushed up as possible, and from the looks of the prototype, the glasses will sport a wrap-around structure with a display that sits above the user’s eye. Capable of streaming messages and enabling the wearer to send and receive messages through voice commands, the Project Glass could very well find a ton of applications once it wanders out into the market.
