Week in Apple: sweet Apple event release:
It should come as no surprise that this week's top Apple posts were about the iPad event in San Francisco that took place on March 7. A new iPad was announced, as was a new Apple TV and the public release of iOS 5.1. We also covered iOS tools for content creation this week, the release of Lightroom 4, and even some interesting discoveries from the Ars Technica server logs. Didn't have time to follow every tiny discovery? That's what the weekly roundup is for!
Apple's iPad with retina display, quad core graphics ships March 16: Apple's new iPad will have a new A5X chip, a retina display, and a rear 5-megapixel camera that can record 1080p video that will be ready to pre-order today.
Hands-on and questions answered: third-gen iPad, third-gen Apple TV: Ars went hands-on with the third-generation iPad as well as the third-generation Apple TV following Wednesday's Apple event. We were able to get a few questions answered, too.
