I am somewhat confused by your statement:

In which device do you see these fields?

According to the manuals for both of your devices, DDNS is supported with an internal update client.


You should configure and enable DDNS on ONLY ONE device.
From the looks of the DDNS setup page on the NAS, it appears to have the better options available.
By this I mean the “Timeout” field, which should be set to “672” hours.
