After several leaks, the Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon is now official. The Windows Phone 8 device will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless and is compatible with their 4G LTE network. No word yet on the release date, but the price is expected to be $99 with contract.

The Nokia Lumia 822 appears to be a variant of the Nokia Lumia 820. It has a 4.3-inch Clearblack display with Gorilla Glass, an 8 megapixel camera, HD front facing camera, wireless charging, and Windows Phone 8 goodness.
The colors available will be black and white, while grey will be exclusive to online orders. The Nokia Lumia 822 also features an exchangeable shell design, sold separately, which supports wireless charging.
