ImgBurn 2.5.8 update released

ImgBurn 2.5.8 update released:
A new version of the popular free disc burning software ImgBurn has been released today. The update increases the version of the program to 2.5.8.0 and is already available for download on the official program website and all official mirror websites.
Note that while you can check for updates in the program, it does not support downloading and installing the update internally. The update check redirects you to the website from where you can download the latest version.
Once you have downloaded it to your system, you need to install it manually over the old version.
Note: The program displays adware offers during installation. The provider has been changed from Ask and its Ask Toolbar to OpenCandy. If you do not want those third party programs installed, select decline when the prompts are displayed to you.

You are probably wondering what is new in ImgBurn 2.5.8.0. The developer has added support for the OPUS and TAK audio compression format to the application, and several new bits of information to various program sections. This includes for instance the effective USB connection speed in the log, the Kernel version of Pioneer drives, or the number of discs burned with Lite-On drives.
ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 supports the creation of UEFI bootable discs, useful for PCs that use UEFI and not BIOS. There have also been a couple of extra options in regards to transfer and buffer sizes. You can now for instance increase the I/O buffer to a maximum of 1024 MB, and select the transfer size when files are read or written.
