Nokia Maps was just updated to version 2.5. In this video, we take a look at route planning, one of the new features in this version. Videe demo on my Nokia Lumia 900 after the jump.

In the new version, you can now set both the starting point and destination point. Previously you could only select your current location as the starting point.
Once that is set, you can choose to go by foot, by car, or public transportation.
Nokia also announced that you are able to pin your routes to the home screen, but that option is not available for me. Is it working for you?
Nokia Maps 2.5 is a great update but there are a few things that are still missing. It would be nice to have multiple points on the route. It would also be nice if I can select from my list of favorite places as options for starting and destination points. I’d also like to see one app instead of separate Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, and Nokia Transit.
