Samsung leaks iPhone evidence, Verizon banned from blocking tethering apps, Gmail for iOS gets update

Samsung leaks iPhone evidence, Verizon banned from blocking tethering apps, Gmail for iOS gets update:
Samsung is in hot water with the judge overseeing its case versus Apple after it released information publicly that had been blocked from the case in court. The evidence is a slide from Samsung showing multiple devices that look similar to the iPhone that were in the works before the original iPhone launch.

The FCC has stepped in and told wireless carrier Verizon that it can no longer ban tethering apps for Android or iOS devices. Verizon banned these apps because it wanted users to pay extra to be able to tether their device to a computer.
The Gmail app for the iPhone and the iPad has been updated. The updated version is 1.3 and ads bug fixes and other worthwhile updates to the app.
