About The Role:
The Mongo DBA role is responsible for managing/maintaining Sailthru’s MongoDB servers, oversight on architecture, and production deployments within the database. To put it simply, you’ll be in charge of taming the beast. This is a crucial role for Sailthru, and requires someone who will uphold high standards of availability and quality of data services. In addition, Sailthru's Mongo DBA will also:
- Strategically plan future design plans and system capabilities.
- Love, honor, and cherish Mongo (while keeping it on a tight leash).
- Verify and validate schemas and queries.
- Monitor deployments for capacity, performance, and/or troubleshooting issues.
