Apple was handed a possibly major setback Friday as its second slide-to-unlock lawsuit in Germany was put on hold. The Mannheim court's Judge Andreas Voss was unconvinced that the design model Apple was wielding against Samsung was necessarily valid. He determined that Apple should wait until Germany's Patent and Trademark Office had decided in a simultaneous case whether or not the design model was valid before moving ahead....
