Mercedes has just offered up an image of what clearly is an SLS AMG draped with car cover branded with the AMG Black Series logo. To decipher this teaser as simply as possible, some rudimentary arithmetic: SLS AMG + Black Series = 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series.
- Comparison Test: Mercedes SLS AMG vs. V12 Vantage, R8 V10, 458 Italia, 911 Turbo S
- First Drive: 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster
- First Drive: 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series
No info accompanied the photo’s release on the Mercedes-AMG Facebook page, but Black Series models (such as the C63 coupe, CLK63, and SL65) are lighter and more powerful than the regular AMGs on which they’re based, and they also get more pumped-up bodywork. Expect all of this to hold true for the SLS Black, mules for which were previously spotted out in the wild.
The photo’s caption on Facebook did reveal that the cover will come off the car in less than 24 hours, so—take the square root of the morning, carry the one . . . subtract Greenwich Mean Time and multiply by breakfast—look for full information and a batch of photos to hit our site very soon.
