Leading Venture Lawyer Reveals Where Best Education Investments Are Now: Steven Masur is a senior partner at New York City’s MasurLaw. Formed in 1994, MasurLaw is one of the nation’s first digital media, entertainment and venture law firms. Recently, they have been working with several education startups. These include MOUSE.org (whose MOUSE Squads empower students to be the IT support staff in their schools), edu-gaming studio Institute of Play, the educational hip-hop platform Flocabulary, and online role-playing pioneer Kognito. I recently spoke with Masur in the pristine lobby of the charming Hotel Giraffe, a few blocks from my Gramercy Park redoubt.
