HTC Windows Phone 8X Announced, Should Nokia Worry?

HTC Windows Phone 8X Announced, Should Nokia Worry?:
Two phones were announced today by HTC, but let’s talk more about the higher-end model, the Windows Phone 8X. It’s the signature Windows Phone according to HTC. Should Nokia be worried? I’ll list more info about the phone below and let you decide if this is better than the Nokia Lumia 920.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X has a unibody design with matte finish in a variety of colors. The edges are dramatically tapered so the phone feels thinner in the hand. It also has a curved glass display, so there are no sharp edges.

The rear camera has an 8MP CMOS sensor with backside-illumination (BSI) for improved low light performance. There’s also a dedicated imaging chip so auto focus and shot to shot time is lightning quick. You can see this in action on the video embedded above.
The front camera on the HTC 8X is definitely a highlight since it features an ultra wide angle lens with an 88 degree viewing angle.
HTC Windows Phone 8X also features built-in amplifiers for Beats audio. We won’t know if this means better sound until the reviews come in.

It will run Windows Phone 8 just like the Nokia Lumia 920 and it will be available beginning in November through more than 150 carriers in 50+ countries including AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile USA.

What do Nokia fans think?

Overall, I like the design of the HTC 8X. Since I’m a big cameraphone fan, I’m also interested in HTC’s dedicated imaging chip. I’m curious if it takes better photos than the Nokia Lumia 920, although the Optical Image Stabilization on the Lumia makes Nokia’s Pureview camera better on paper.
What do you think? HTC 8X or Nokia Lumia 920?
