API Strategy and Practice Take the Stage in New York in November

API Strategy and Practice Take the Stage in New York in November:
There are only a handful of truly API-centric conferences, but shouldn’t they be growing at the speed of APIs? While not exactly doubling, there is a new event coming November 1-2 in New York City. API Strategy and Practice combines strategy keynotes and panels from leading speakers and themed practice sessions focused on topics ranging from media APIs to mobile, security and API marketing 101.

Speakers include Daniel Jacobson from Netflix (and previously NPR), John Sheehan (IFTTT) and ProgrammableWeb’s own John Musser. More speakers are being announced over the coming weeks and will include companies operating APIs, technology vendors and industry observers.
The organizers are looking to make the event an inclusive platform to discuss the platforms we all create and use. There are still speaking (and sponsorship) opportunities available and they’re looking for session and content suggestions. The event is co-organized by 3scale and API Evangelist and supported by high-profile industry sponsors including Alcatel-Lucent (ProgrammableWeb’s parent company), Intel, Ping Identity, SOA Software (http://www.soa.com/), Vordel and WSO2.
More information is available on the event website or the event twitter feed @apistrat. API Strategy and Practice joins notable API conferences The Business of APIs and Glue.
