PS Vita can now play PSOne games, be PS3 controller

PS Vita can now play PSOne games, be PS3 controller:
Sony released a firmware update for the PlayStation Vita late Monday evening, according to Joystiq. Firmware version 1.80 allows PS Vita owners to use their handhelds as controllers for the PlayStation 3, and gives access to a range of PSOne Classics games.
Nine titles are officially available for the Vita: Arc the Lad, Cool Boarders 2, Final Fantasy VII, Hot Shots Golf 2, Jet Moto, Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider, Twisted Metal 2, and Wild Arms. But all is not as it seems with this list: Joystiq points out that two additional games, Cho Aniki and Money Idol Exchanger, are two PSOne Imports that can install on the Vita. Cho Aniki is even able to run, though neither is officially listed as available. A third PSOne game, Um Jammer Lammy, is not installable, so it's not yet a PSOne free-for-all.
A number of smaller updates also accompany the new firmware version, including the ability to use the d-pad controls for menu navigation (previously, only the touch screen allowed players to interact with the menu). The update also improves the maps and Web browser, including a search bar in the top left corner, a jump-to-top button, and the ability to scroll through pages with the rear touchpad.
